Job Title: Senior Building Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum life and reliability of systems.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance duties, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors and technicians to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory control.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
  • Appropriate licenses and certifications, such as Journeyman or Master Electrician License, City Licenses, Operators License, Steam Engineers License, etc.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
  • Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment.
  • Ability to speak clearly and read information presented orally and in writing.
