UC Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate UC Paramedic to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

• Perform patient care interventions, including medication administration, in alignment with state scope of practice and tasks approved by Phoenix Children's and the administrative medical director.
• Conduct focused assessments of patient care interventions and document all findings.
• Provide orientation to patients and family members on hospital systems, processes, and policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in in-service programs, meetings, and rounds to stay up-to-date on best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current certification as a UC Paramedic.
• Experience working in an urgent care or emergency department setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
