Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - CT Scan Technician
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Cynet Health. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for performing procedures and operating CT Scanners.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners and related equipment, adhering to departmental protocols and standards.
- Operate scanner equipment, post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, and patient monitoring equipment with proficiency.
- Verify patient orders, consult with Radiologists and ordering providers as necessary, and identify patients using two identifiers.
- Prepare patients for procedures with detailed explanations and document relevant information on worksheets.
- Clinically evaluate patients, administer IV contrast when required, and correlate test results with exam data.
- Evaluate image quality, recognize abnormal anatomy, and process additional images or measurements as needed.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Advanced Registered CT Tech certification.
- High volume and acuity level experience.
This role requires physical efforts such as lifting and moving patients and equipment. The position involves walking, standing, sitting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling during operations.
Salary:The estimated annual salary for this position is $64,000-$90,000 based on national averages and location in Concord, NC.
