Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide well-coordinated patient care, including rounding with physicians in an inpatient setting.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to nursing practice, ensuring that care is delivered based on patient-specific needs.
  • Use the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses to guide your response to patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensure.
  • No experience required, but prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
