We are seeking an experienced Animal Care Technician to join our team at People People, a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) that supports the Pharmaceutical, Animal Health, Agrochemical and Food Industries. About this role:

Responsibilities
  • Provide humane care and treatment to a diverse range of laboratory animals
  • Perform routine animal husbandry duties, including feeding, watering, and cage cleaning
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of equipment such as cage washers, scales, and balances
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Support the clinical veterinarian in physical examinations and animal health programs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum
