Bus Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting club members to and from the club, while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

• Operate a bus on a prescribed route, picking up and dropping off members at designated locations, while following established safety procedures.
• Instruct members on safe boarding and departing procedures.
• Monitor the bus's operating condition and report any needed servicing or repairs.
• Prepare accident and special reports as needed.
• Attend training programs and meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain a daily vehicle log and adhere to established routes and schedules.
• Comply with state laws, rules, and regulations, as well as Boys and Girls Club policies related to transportation.

• Valid Florida CDL Class B license with passenger and air brake endorsement and "S" endorsement.
• Experience driving a bus is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a required physical examination.
• No convictions for moving violations in the three continuous years preceding the date of application.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle various routes.
• Ability to read maps and make relevant independent determinations with respect to routes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with youth.
