Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Stroke Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate healing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a group of patients during a designated time frame, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
  • Coordinate and provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering professional growth and satisfaction.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Required
  • 2000 hours direct bedside care in a cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years – Core Requirement
  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Core Requirement
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required prior to completion of orientation to the assigned area
  • Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test - Must Pass at time of hire (Required if hired after 11/15/2018)
