Imaging Technologist Nights

Join AdventHealth Tampa as an Imaging Technologist Nights and be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

About the Role

As an Imaging Technologist Nights, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRI scans, and X-rays. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using established protocols and guidelines
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and educate them on the exam process
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff
  • Review images and repeat exams as necessary to ensure the best possible results
  • Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or technical degree in a related field, or combination of high school degree and related experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
  • General radiographer state license as required by state if applicable
