Corporate Lawyer

Xylem I LLC is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Attorney to join our team in Norfolk, VA. As a key member of our Corporate Legal Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of our business and legal interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer in the management of mergers and acquisitions, legal affairs, and strategic initiatives.
• Handle a diverse range of corporate and business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business and legal management, and other sophisticated transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to the business.
• Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing corporate law, with a focus on M&A and sophisticated transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with attention to detail.
• Experience in a midsize or large law firm preferred.
