Mercatalyst, the creators of innovative solutions and future projects, is seeking exceptional Salesforce Development Engineers with a robust background in Salesforce to enhance our internal systems and infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop software that supports various internal operations, including supply chain management, warehouse operations, shipping logistics, vendor coordination, customer service, and financial accounting. If you find this role intriguing rather than mundane, we would love to hear from you, provided you possess remarkable skills and creativity.

Important Note: This is not a Salesforce Administrator position. While familiarity with adding fields, modifying layouts, creating dashboards and reports, managing permissions, and building approval processes is necessary, the core requirement is proficiency in coding. You will be expected to write code in Salesforce technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL, SOSL, etc.) as well as in other programming languages (such as Elm and Python).

Candidate Profile:

  • A solid foundation in Computer Science.
  • Experience in software engineering with technologies beyond Salesforce.
  • At least 1 year of Salesforce development experience.
  • Proficiency with the Salesforce platform, AppExchange, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Familiarity with ERP, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management systems is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Computer Science background is essential.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a development role.
  • 1-3 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform, AppExchange, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Knowledge of ERP, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management products is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce is beneficial.
