Diet Menu Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diet Clerk to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. This part-time position involves patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

• Distribute and collect menus in a timely manner.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections in compliance with prescribed diets as assigned by dietitians.
• Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets based on food allergies or sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences when patients inquire or need additional selections.
• Plan regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
• Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula accurately and promptly.
• May be responsible for the preparation, distribution, inventory, and management of human/donor milk and/or infant formula.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
• Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Follow facility and department infection-control policies and procedures.
• Participate in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Programs and teams to improve processes and patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
