Automotive Lot Coordinator

The Automotive Lot Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of new- and used-vehicle inventory at Premier Automotive Group.

About the Job

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lot Attendant/Porter. This role is responsible for ensuring that our vehicle lots are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Parks new vehicles in assigned areas to maximize space efficiency
• Catalogs and stores keys to maintain accurate inventory control
• Assigns stock control numbers to cars to track sales and inventory movement
• Moves sold vehicles to designated areas to optimize lot layout
• Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department in a timely manner
• Servicing vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness by cleaning interiors and exteriors, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles to ensure accurate identification and presentation
• Keeps vehicle lots neat and orderly by moving cars according to dealership display standards
• Cleans driveways and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as required
• Drives vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking lots as necessary
• Creates key tags for vehicles to ensure efficient access

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• No prior experience or training; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
