We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- Use triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Monitor hemodynamic status of patients and correctly interpret results.
- Educate patients and families regarding pain management.
- Current NV RN License
- Two to three years of experience in the emergency department, critical care, or extensive EMS background experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
