Position Title: Flight/Ground Test Analysis Senior Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL
POSITION SUMMARY:
Willbrook Solutions is in search of a skilled Engineer/Analyst to join the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse (GMD) Flight and Ground Test Analysis team. The selected candidate will collaborate within a diverse team to facilitate the pre- and post-test performance evaluations of flight and ground tests, contributing to an actionable Missile Defense System (MDS) Test Program for the MDA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough technical evaluations of GMD Fire Control and Kill Vehicle flight and ground test data.
- Analyze test requirements and establish pre-mission test scenarios and cases.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of technical evaluations across various analysis teams within the MDA.
- Prepare documentation of analysis findings and visual representations for technical briefings directed at GMD and MDA Leadership.
- Create analytical tools utilizing MATLAB and/or Python to enhance analysis evaluations and visualizations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Capability to secure and maintain a SECRET or higher-level security clearance. An active Final SECRET clearance is preferred, but candidates who can obtain and maintain the necessary clearance will also be considered.
- Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with at least 12 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a minimum of 20 years of experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python/Anaconda, or similar advanced programming languages.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Capability to manage and support multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present updates and analysis results to Senior DoD officials.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with missile defense systems, including advanced radar technologies, missiles, fire control, and command and control (C2) systems.
- Familiarity with ballistic missile threats, targets, and interceptors.
- Experience in performing technical data analysis and presenting results in formal briefings.
- Understanding of RF signatures and RADAR systems, techniques, and algorithms, particularly in missile defense applications.
- Knowledge of IR signatures and the use of IR data by missile interceptors.
- Experience with Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) processes.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher-level security clearance.
