Job Description:
The ER Physician Assistant will engage in patient care in the Emergency Trauma Center (ETC) and other settings using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills. Conducts examinations of ETC patients to assess and respond to their condition. Works under the oversight of a supervisory physician.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current ND Board Physician Assistant License required.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two years, preferred.
- ACLS certification, with certification every two years, preferred.
- Educational Requirements
- Education as required to obtain and keep current ND Physician Assistant license.
- Experience Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of established professional medical concepts, principals, and practices, required.
- Experience in specialized medical areas, preferred.
- CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
