The Medical Center of Aurora is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our newborn patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to newborns in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in neonatal care.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support through the AHA or ARC.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 6 months of employment.
- STABLE certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
