Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
  • Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and timely treatment delivery.
  • Assist with patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring, blood pressure checks, and medication administration.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and services.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; certification in patient care or dialysis technology preferred.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
