UPMC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Staff RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including assessing their condition and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Direct and supervise nursing care provided to patients, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in the economical utilization of supplies and maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Current PA RN nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Act 34 clearance.
