Job SummaryAs a Material Handler at GES-AGM, you will play a vital role in facilitating the transportation and unloading/loading of materials, inventory supplies, and finished products to designated locations using a forklift and other equipment.

This is a high-energy position that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, distribute, and store products per company directives in designated, secure locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials received and shipped, including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
  • Review shipments for quality and accompanying documents for accuracy.
  • Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods utilizing best methods, whether manually or with tow motor trucks, overhead crane with chains, and pallet jacks.
  • Prepare finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, staging, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Collect and properly dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of forklift experience; Forklift Certification preferred.
  • At least one year of related experience working within a material and/or logistics manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Previous experience reading and following instructions, utilizing basic math, and a tape measure.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor environments lifting 50 pounds as needed.
Estimated Salary$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
