Regional Technical Sales Director

About the Position
The Regional Vice President of Technical Sales leads the AHEAD Technical Sales organization, ensuring a positive and high-performing technical selling environment that benefits clients, employees, and partners. This role requires collaboration with Executive Sales Leadership to develop and execute sales strategies using Pre-Sales Specialists and services portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies with Pre-Sales Specialists and services portfolio
- Position Executive / Technical Briefings and Lab Demonstrations with customers and partners to showcase AHEAD capabilities
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance team solution knowledge, technical acumen, and pre-sales skill sets
- Drive career development (External Training / Internal Career Roadmap)
- Build executive-level relationships with key partners and their associated field leadership teams
- Foster and maintain key relationships with customer stakeholders and project sponsors
- Manage key metrics to measure progress
- Collaborate with other TSS executives to ensure continuity between Pre-Sales, Delivery, and clients
Requirements
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, Master in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
- Minimum fifteen years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment
- At least 5 years of executive-level experience leading technical selling teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional leadership skills
