Critical Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care units to general medical-surgical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
Requirements:
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of recent Step Down experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
