Job Summary

The Montgomery County Pennsylvania Department of Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in the Managed Care Solutions (MCS) division. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with program standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead role in managing and coordinating MCS contracts, including the Request for Proposal function.
  • Key role in the development and monitoring of DHS Capitation rates and County Budget.
  • Provide financial support to program staff and assist with financial reports, reinvestment reporting, and other special reporting to DHS.
  • Develop and maintain reports for management, including demographic, membership, utilization, financial, performance, value-based performance, and social determinants of health.
  • Reconcile and analyze financial and program data, identifying resources and technology necessary to provide information to management staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in healthcare, financial management, and/or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in database design and management, dashboard and report writing.
  • Ability to understand human services business and program functions, with Pennsylvania residency required.
