We are looking for a skilled Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to become part of our established Hospitalist program. The selected candidate is expected to secure and/or uphold board certification throughout their tenure.
This role features a balanced rotation of one week on duty followed by one week off, including occasional nocturnalist responsibilities.
The Hospitalists are responsible for all inpatients needing hospitalist services. The Hospitalist rotations are scheduled from Friday morning through the subsequent Thursday. The Hospitalist physicians manage inpatient rounds, admissions, discharges, and consultations. Weekend on-call duties are shared among the two Hospitalists on duty. For weeknight on-call and coverage, one member of the Hospitalist team will take the nocturnist shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., addressing critical admissions, emergency department cases, and any issues that arise in patient care during the night.
