Job Title: Collision Center Parts Advisor

About the Job

Diehl Collision of Cranberry is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join their team as a Parts Advisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively with technicians and vendors, maintaining a clean and professional appearance of the counter, work area, and stockroom, and interacting with the Body Shop & Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with technicians and vendors via phone, in-person, or email to ensure accurate and timely part delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, work area, and stockroom.
  • Coordinate with the Body Shop & Service Team to determine parts requirements for vehicle repair and service.
  • Order parts from suppliers based on Service Team requests.
  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas to ensure they are readily available when needed.
  • Verify the quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders.
  • Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.
  • Specify parts accurately to ensure correct installation.
  • Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the retail/wholesale automotive parts industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds from floor.
