Job Title: Production Shift Leader, Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Shift Leader to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen. As a Production Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees on the night shift, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of production employees on the night shift, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of production tasks.
  • Monitor and control production processes, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks that may impact productivity or quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure that production meets established standards and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all employees are following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage employee performance, providing coaching and feedback to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions, with a focus on improving productivity and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including quality control, maintenance, and other departments.
