We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Trauma ICU Nurse to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Redding, a member of the Dignity Health system. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients and their support systems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assume responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self and the nursing process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- 1 year of recent open heart or critical care experience.
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS, ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
- PALS certification within 12 months of hire.
- 12-lead EKG and shock class completion.
