We are a new multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Our state-of-the-art facility features the latest technologies, including a Da Vinci Xi robot.

Job Summary

We are seeking a PreOp PACU Nurse to join our team. As a PreOp PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients in the perioperative setting. You will work closely with our surgical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
  • Monitor patients according to policy, including vital signs, temperature, and cardiac function
  • Exhibit proper technique for insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks
  • Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations of patients using an approved scoring system
  • Check dressings and/or operative sites of patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon
  • Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and families
  • Ensure patients meet discharge criteria

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Preop, PACU, Pain, GI, ER, ICU, or Surgery
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment
  • BCLS Certification upon employment
  • ACLS required within 30-days of hire
  • PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
