Job Summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a highly skilled PEPI Manager to join its Private Equity Performance Improvement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting software product and technology due diligence assessments on target organizations for private equity clients and their portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct software product and technology assessments focused on key areas such as product features and functionality, technology and architecture, intellectual property, and R&D organization and processes.

Develop and manage data request lists to identify key data, artifacts, and documentation required from the target for the assessment.

Summarize key insights into client-ready exhibits, pages, and sections of interim and final deliverables.

Ensure the quality of deliverables and effectively manage day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

Requirements

5-8 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of five years consulting to the tech industry or specializing in software/tech-enabled services product management or software development.

Desired - experience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/product and tech due diligence experience.

Exemplary communication skills, both oral and written, including proven ability to directly develop and deliver executive-level, client-ready written communication materials.

Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Previous software/product experience, either in a software organization or related advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big-4 consultancy.

What We Offer

A&M offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $190,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Full-time positions and part-time positions over 30 hours are entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits, including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal.
