Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Hudson, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Operating Room Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative care to patients in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
  • Ensure the operating room is properly sterilized and prepared with necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Monitor patient vitals and report any adverse reactions in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans for surgical patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and alert the appropriate team members.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • May require ACLS certification.
