Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our outpatient dialysis center. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering care to patients with end-stage renal disease. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and educating patients and their families on dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide education to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and self-care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification (if required by state regulations)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body
