Substance Abuse Therapist

The Recovery Research Network is seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team in a correctional setting. As a licensed therapist, you will provide assessment and evaluation services, formulate effective treatment plans, and conduct individual and group therapy and case management services.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a population in need of substance use disorder treatment and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities- Provide assessment and evaluation services to patients
- Formulate effective treatment plans and conduct individual and group therapy
- Conduct case management services to ensure patient needs are met
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Current Florida License - Licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LFMT, or LCSW
- MCAP and/or registered interns will be considered
- Master's or PsyD
- 2+ years experience, specifically working in addiction/substance abuse and CAP preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and use of EMR
- Ability to pass local and Level II background checks
- Ability to pass Palm Beach Sheriff's Office background check
- Ability to follow protocols to ensure safety and security within a detention center
- Proficiency in English

This position will be working in a correctional facility, providing treatment services to inmates. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a correctional environment and able to follow protocols to ensure safety and security.
