This position is responsible for the planning and execution of various activities that promote social interaction, entertainment, and the development of daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
  • Create programs that foster social connections and provide enjoyable experiences.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, reading, and writing skills.
  • Maintain professional interactions with residents, their families, and the broader community.
  • Conduct individual visits, participate in care plan meetings, and perform assessments and charting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of activities, attendance records, calendars, and resident council minutes.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with various programs.
  • Complete the state-approved Basic Orientation Course; prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • Manage the procurement of supplies necessary for activities.
  • Design and execute programs suitable for residents with varying skill levels.
Essential Qualifications
  • Candidates should be outgoing, energetic, and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Must possess the current federally mandated vaccinations or provide valid exemption documentation.
