We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Responsibilities- Fill and dispense medication orders, ensuring proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs.
- Maintain department standards and translate policies into daily operations.
- Act as an information resource for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information.
- Coordinate efforts with medical staff and nursing to deliver quality and cost-effective drug therapies.
- Participate in the hospital's Antibiotic Stewardship Program, focusing on patient safety and public health.
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all relevant age groups and demonstrate leadership skills as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science Degree from a College/School of Pharmacy.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment.
- Additional qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, experience with pharmacokinetics and anticoagulation, TPN experience, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
