We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing. This is a PRN opportunity, allowing you to work on a flexible schedule that suits your needs.
Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques and equipment.
- Identify and label blood vials according to established procedures.
- Work with RNs to achieve timely pre-procedure blood draws and testing.
- Interact with patients, families, team members, physicians, and ancillary staff in a professional and compassionate manner.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy course (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
