Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Centralia Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray radiological procedures, including radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray radiological procedures, including radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all individuals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of a radiographic program approved by the JCERT and the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • 2 years of experience in diagnostic x-ray, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
