Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Associate to join our research team at the University of California. As a Computational Neuroscientist, you will work closely with our team to develop advanced computational models and methods for visualization, analysis, quantification, and processing of medical imaging data, especially neuroimaging data.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: graph theory, pattern recognition, and computational modeling; coding and software engineering skills; MRI image acquisition, reconstruction, and processing; genomics, informatics, and spatial transcriptomics; fMRI, EEG, and MEG data analysis; neuro-image analysis; familiarity with ADNI, PPMI, HCP, ABCD, and other public neuroimaging databases; signal, image, and vision processing; experience in software development and tools such as MatLab, Python.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced computational models and methods for neuroimaging data analysis
  • Analyze and interpret large-scale neuroimaging datasets
  • Design and implement efficient algorithms for data processing and visualization
  • Collaborate with researchers from diverse backgrounds to integrate knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

  • Advanced research degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in neuroimaging, neuroinformatics, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, biomedical engineering, or neuroscience
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the above-mentioned areas
