Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team on a per diem basis in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

This position involves performing radiographic procedures, communicating with patients, and working effectively with physicians and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and general fluoroscopic.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and confirm their understanding.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process them to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Assist, communicate, and consult with radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
