We are seeking a skilled Precast Laborer to join our team at The H&K Group. As a Precast Laborer, you will be responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, and applying stains to finish the concrete.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build forms to ensure accurate and efficient concrete pouring
- Pour concrete into forms and use wire mesh to reinforce the concrete
- Spread and smooth concrete to achieve a high-quality finish
- Apply stains or colors to add a finishing touch to the concrete
- Apply waterproofing and sealants to protect the concrete work
- Monitor the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
- One month of related experience and/or training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to the job)
- Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, quarries, or heavy manufacturing
- Experience in Precast Cement and cement manufacturing strongly preferred
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
