Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at Rise Baking Company. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Operations
    • Execute daily production schedules to meet customer orders and quality standards.
    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery to achieve high standards of performance.
    • Properly handle ingredients and supplies to maintain processing standards.
  • Quality Control
    • Adhere to cleaning procedures and allergen control program guidelines.
    • Take corrective action as assigned by the Supervisor based on pre-operation and daily self-assessment audit findings.
    • Participate in investigating issues, finding root causes, and developing solutions for production area issues.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Maintain safe working conditions and preserve the integrity of the environmental health and safety system.
    • Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Effectively communicate with peers and leadership to convey equipment issues and maintain confidentiality.
    • Work cross-functionally to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of production procedures and machine operation preferred.
  • 1+ years of production experience in food manufacturing desired.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and multitask.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working in a team environment.
