Integration Specialist

Futurex is seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our team at our Engineering Campus north of San Antonio. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of our enterprise-grade data encryption hardware with third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and document integrations to ensure secure key/certificate storage within our FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated modules.
• Deep dive into industry-specific protocols and APIs to streamline how our hardware works with external systems.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to understand new feature integrations, document their functionality, and propose solutions that enhance our products' overall security and performance.
• Develop accurate, well-structured documentation to make technical concepts easy for colleagues and users to grasp.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Solid foundation in technology with a quick aptitude for learning and comprehending intricate systems.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing reliable documentation.

Desirable Experience:

• 2+ years in a cybersecurity role.
• 2+ years of enterprise B2B technical writing experience.
• Network fluency, including TCP/IP networking expertise.
• Multi-platform comfort, including Linux, Windows, and other operating systems.
• Scripting skills, such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Git proficiency for seamless version control.
