Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Audiologist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to our service members, ensuring they receive the necessary evaluations and support for their hearing health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret a variety of audiological assessments to evaluate hearing impairments.
  • Analyze test results in conjunction with medical history and behavioral factors to determine the underlying causes of hearing loss.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to document findings and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen removal, ensuring all audiometric equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Provide training and guidance to support staff on audiology-related procedures and best practices.
  • Complete necessary documentation for disability benefit questionnaires as required.
  • Travel as needed to perform audiological assessments at various locations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in audiology.
  • Current, unrestricted audiology license in the relevant state.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation as required.
