Architectural Drafter

Actalent is seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our team in Holland, Michigan. As an Architectural Drafter, you will be responsible for developing shop drawings, submitting architectural drawings and specs, and interpreting information from internal orders and customer-supplied plans.

• Develop shop drawings as defined in the scope of work provided by the customer
• Submit architectural drawings and specs
• Interpret information from internal orders and customer-supplied structural and/or architectural plans
• Draft floor plans, sections, elevations, and details
• Coordinate panel analysis with engineering personnel
• Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials
• Review and update drawings to customer redline corrections as needed
• Provide preliminary take-offs on every project to verify material that will need to be ordered by customer service

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or other related technical field
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, contract documents, and specifications
• Previous experience preferred in engineering and/or architectural drafting and rendering
