We are seeking a skilled General Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Three Rivers, California. This flexible opportunity offers half-day or full-day shifts on a PRN basis, ideal for those looking to balance work and personal life.

Job Summary

This position involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and METs testing. Training will be provided for Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), and documentation must be completed within 48 hours of the exam.

Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted full medical license
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
  • Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions
  • Own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
  • Willingness to complete required Disability Medical Assessment (DMA) training
  • AANP certification is preferred
  • Previous experience in completing Veterans assessments is a plus
