Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for EPS/Pacing procedures and assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area, with a strong background in EKG interpretation and scrubbing skills. A valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License and ARRT certification are also required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for EPS/Pacing procedures
- Gather and compile information during procedures using computer-generated data
- Assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor and oversee proper use of radiation (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
- BLS certification
- 1-3 years of experience in Radiology or a Procedural area
- EKG interpretation and scrubbing skills
- Valid N.J. Radiology Technologist License and ARRT certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
