Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field and instruments for surgical cases.
  • Count and verify surgical instruments and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Completion of a Nationally Accredited Surgical Technology Program or a Military Surgical Technology Program required upon hire.
