Job Title: Tax Manager

Plante Moran is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax engagements, managing client relationships, and developing and executing tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tax engagements and manage client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings for clients.
  • Manage and develop a team of tax professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality service.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as audit and consulting, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in tax consulting, preferably with a Big Four firm or a large accounting firm.
  • Proven track record of leading tax engagements and managing client relationships.
  • Strong technical skills in tax planning, compliance, and consulting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
