Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at AHU Technologies Inc. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality software products meet customer needs.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience with testing in software development projects, including mid-scale or large-scale system development projects using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts, and test plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to review and analyze system specifications, perform manual testing, and/or automated testing using supported tools. Additionally, they should be able to identify missing test cases, create new ones, modify existing test cases for complete and accurate Test Coverage, document Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM), and confirm applications are ready for UAT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Analyze system specifications, identify defects, and develop test cases to ensure complete coverage.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate product quality throughout the development life cycle.
  • Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Provide timely and thorough reporting on test results and defects found.

Requirements:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is required.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience with testing in software development projects is required, preferably in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts, and test plans.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with defect management tools such as TFS/JIRA, GitHub, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies is an advantage. Experience with SDLC concepts and best practices, running tests for application functions, and public sector experience are also preferred.

Salary Range:
The estimated salary range for this position is $39.92-$43.00 per hour, based on local market conditions and industry standards.
