About Us

Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company founded on September 23, 1889. It has created industry icons that have become well-known, household names, such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda and Pokemon.

We are seeking an entry-level engineer who is available during the summer of 2025 to join our team working on networking software for our consoles. The successful candidate will be a high-energy problem-solver with a passion for networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and develop network protocols
  • Implement feature prototyping and improvements
  • Optimize software performance

Requirements

  • Rising senior pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field (MS preferred)
  • Strong C development skills
  • Experience with computer systems (operating systems, kernels, networking, allocators, IPC, etc.) preferred

Compensation

This contract position has a base pay of $40.00 per hour and is eligible for benefits through Nintendo. Benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. Agency benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms.
