We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as perioperative nursing or critical care.
