Job Summary:
The Clinical Dietitian provides and documents nutrition care to inpatients. This includes nutritional screenings, assessments, reassessments, counseling, and education. The Clinical Dietitian develops educational materials and maintains current nutrition information; actively participates in the quality and performance improvement process of clinical nutrition services; and communicates nutrition information to other health care professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with pharmacists, nurses, physicians and others in the provision of specialized nutrition support (TPN, TF) and general nutritional care.
- Assists with data collection and analysis to monitor and improve the nutrition care process.
- Conducts in-service training and educational programs for hospital employees as is appropriate.

Requirements:
- Minimum Education Required - Bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition
- Minimum Work Experience Preferred - Health care environment.
- Required Licenses License as Registered Dietitian from Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (New hires have 6 months to obtain)
